The Health, Safety and Welfare of employees are of prime importance to the Company and are essential to the efficient operation of its undertaking.

The responsibility for safe work rests upon all sectors of management and the Company ensures that its policy is pursued through the organization. The Company takes all reasonably practicable precautions to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of its employees by providing:

  1. A safe working environment by design, construction, operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and facilities.
  2. Safe systems of work, as set out in the technical extensions of the ACC policy.
  3. Adequate instruction, information training and supervision.
  4. Control of all situations likely to cause damage to property and equipment, as set out in the technical extensions of the ACC policy.
  5. Effective facilities for the treatment of injuries, which may occur at work.
  6. Effective fire prevention and fire control procedure, as set out in the technical extensions of the ACC policy.
  7. Adequate facilities for consultation between management and employee representatives.
  8. The making of such tests, examinations, samples and records as are necessary to monitor the working environment. 
The Company expects employees to conform to its policy and to exercise all reasonable care for their own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. The overall responsibility of Health, Safety and Welfare of the Company and its personnel is vested in the CEO.

The Company gives full backing to its policy and its Safety Officers, whose function shall be to monitor and operate the policy and will support all those who endeavor to carry it out.
